On the outside, it looked like I had everything - the house, the stay-at-home mom title, two beautiful children that came into my life with ease, no debt, an education… the list goes on. But, on the inside I was drowning - I was depressed, struggling to find motivation to keep up with daily tasks, I had literally no self-care routine, and I was working through a lot of grief.&nbsp;I was fortunate enough that my husband supported me from the moment I spoke the words to him. We got help in the form of a holistic doctor and a therapist. And, I’m not going to lie, those months were very hard. But, I was determined to get better for him and for my kids, and for me.It was at this point in my life that I started listening to self-development podcasts and was instantly hooked. I’m a huge advocate for seeking help in whatever way, shape or form suits you, but - man - podcasts were the trigger that sent me off on the trajectory of today…&nbsp;What happened between then and now? I healed my shame and guilt around my postpartum depression - to the point where I have a podcast where I openly speak about it! I discovered my purpose and continue to evolve and embody it every day. I leaned into my calling to help people transform their spaces and launched my own interior design business, Holistic Havens.&nbsp;I have also developed my intuition, to the point where now I receive intuitive downloads that fill me with ease in my everyday life - decisions come easier and validating synchronicities happen on a daily basis. I learned how and when to say no, how to ask for help, and I actually have a self care routine.Okay, but here’s the deal. I’m also still learning… still evolving… still experiencing my spiritual awakening… on. a. daily. basis.
